ART SOCIAL’S FIRST BIRTHDAY | Sun 1st Mar
Art Social is turning one year old 🥳
Head down to the Classroom’s very own art social at midday on Sunday 1st March to chill, chat and channel your creative side over a nice pint. We will supply all the stationary but feel free to bring your own if you like!
Whether it be painting, collage, scrapbooking or just some doodles, all are welcome.
‘What started as a small idea for a few mates to hang out and use up some art supplies, not sit around doom scrolling and just an excuse to get out the house and do something creative has quickly evolved into a community of artists from all over Leicester 🧑🎨🤘
We have no set themes, there’s no pressure to stay throughout the session, there’s no announcements or expectations for people to introduce themselves to everyone, sometimes it’s just nice to be in the same space as people doing interesting stuff…
For some, Art Social events have become a favourite day of the month, we’ve met some amazing people, made friends and had extra support and help from venues and their lovely staff 💛💙🖤💚💜❤️

As usual, there will be loads of art materials to practice and play with, canvases and a variety of nice card, collaging bits, printing do-dahs and other thingy-majigs… Artists are more than welcome to bring their own supplies or tablet as well 🎨
