GÀLLERTE | Sat 9th May

May

Join us for GÀLLERTE: a contemporary dance and physical theatre performance.

A brand new contemporary dance and physical theatre performance with an original score, created collaboratively by Leicester based artists.
GÀLLERTE: 'a commodity, a jelly made from ground animal bones... human labour in the abstract - boiled down to condiments.'
Set in a pub basement, dancers explore the concepts of gender, physical labour and the horrors of the working world while uncovering its impact on our identity and relationships. GÀLLERTE asks us to question our connection to capital, and dares us to watch.
Doors will be open at 18:45, no entry past 19:45. The show will be approximately 30-40 minutes.
We are offering three price range options for your tickets: £3, £5 or £8. All ticket sales will go towards the future of this project, we will also be collecting cash and card donations on the night!

Concept & direction: Kiera Sanderson
Performers: Esmé Sensibar, Rebekah Heathcote, Noah West, Kiera Sanderson & Rowan Taylor as ‘Frank’
Original score: Joel Page
Photography: Amelia Flowers
Special thanks: Nuala Niamh Harvey
