Magic Teapot presents SUNDERLAND PUNK in the Common Room

SLALOM D, hailing from Sunderland and named after a now defunct brand of strong lager infamous amongst local punks, was formed in 2018, and project a forward-looking punk sound, combining innovative melodies, raw power and a fearless exploration of contemporary social issues.

GESTALT - Primarily a strident post punk band. Informed by punk but not constricted by any formulaic notions.

THE DOUBLE R 5 play their own original tunes - Mongrel Music, a cut & shut groove with no real place. They’re a bit Punk, a bit Blues, a bit Rock and even a touch Reggae and Ska.

CONCRETE CAR - Noisy punk by people old enough to know better. Not so much hardcore, more loose gravel. Songs about food poisoning, celebrity mishaps, and Elon Musk in nappies.
