From the streets of Old Trafford to the coast of Chittagong, Afreena shares what it really means to be ‘British’ and ‘Bangladeshi’, whilst not really fitting into either of them…

Inspired by the festival theme of “The Stories We Bring, The Stories We Shape,” Shakti Unleashed promises a riot of colour, passion, and pure queer power that you won’t want to miss.

An Evening With Amit Chadda

Blending acoustic guitar and piano with stirring, soulful vocals, Amit’s music has been described as folk-soul – a sound that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant. In this special performance, Amit invites you on a musical journey through themes of spirituality, identity, love, loss, and hope.

Drawing inspiration from nature’s quiet wisdom, ancient spiritual teachings, and his own path of self-discovery as a queer British Indian, Amit weaves songs and stories into a tapestry of lyrical and heartfelt reflection.

Expect rich melodies, intimate storytelling, and a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect – a night for those who find meaning in words, music, and the shared experience of what it means to be human.
